How we make money

Home Outage Plan is free to use. When you buy through some links on this site, the merchant may pay us a commission. You pay the same price.

What that means for you

We do not sell anything. Every product link takes you to the manufacturer or a retailer. They handle the purchase, payment, shipping, warranty, customer service and returns.
Commissions never change our recommendations. The comparison runs on product specifications only. It never sees prices or commission rates, and a product with no commission can rank first.
Links are labeled with the merchant, such as “View at EcoFlow,” so you always know where you are going.
No paid placements. Brands cannot pay to be included or ranked.
